We are asking for your sponsorship and support for our Chapter’s Design Events, Annual Meetings, Professional Development and Educational Programs, CEU Blitzes, and other resources, as well as, our important focus on Advocacy and through our work as part of The Consortium for Interior Design in Idaho and Utah for legislative efforts critical to advancing our profession.
The Consortium for Interior Design is a collaborative effort. An Agreement was signed in 2024, between ASID Intermountain Chapter and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) North Pacific Chapter in Idaho and the IIDA Intermountain Chapter in Utah, which allows us to work more efficiently and maximize our resources on our shared goal in creating in Idaho and expanding in Utah our Certification. Previously we were IDEAL for Utah and Idaho.
Since its inception nationally, in March 2023, The Consortium for Interior Design, an advocacy partnership, of ASID, IIDA, and the Council for Interior Design Qualification (CIDQ), has been dedicated to securing, expanding, and maintaining reasonable regulations in pursuit of independent practice rights for qualified interior designers and to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public and building occupants nationwide.
We invite you to join us in this important endeavor. Your ASID Intermountain Chapter sponsorship will help us continue our advocacy efforts, provide chapter events and educational resources, and support initiatives that benefit both the industry and the public. You will also be contributing to a cause that ensures the highest standards of practice and promotes the professional growth of interior designers.
