This virtual event will bring together seasoned designers and those new to the workforce to discuss what it takes to be a designer today. We will also be announcing & awarding the winners of the Portfolio Showcase!

Panel Discussions: Entering the industry today

• A conversation with a residential designer, a commercial designer, and industry partner answering common industry questions as well as some submitted by attendees.
• A Q&A Session with recent design school graduates sharing experiences of entering the work force, and insights on getting a job in the current market. 

Portfolio Showcase

Participate in our portfolio competition for seniors in both 4-year program and 2-year program. The portfolios will be submitted and judged prior to the event with the top three in each category being featured during the event. The top winner in each category will receive recognition, an award, and time with a mentor from the design community. 

Don’t miss this opportunity to share your work with a judges panel made up of local professionals and industry partners in your own community. Build your network, name, and brand by submitting your work in this free competition.
